Dr. Ali Esmail, MD

Owner/Doctor

Dr. Ali Esmail is Winnipeg’s first and only fellowship trained Facial Plastic Surgeon. Unlike a ‘general plastic surgeon’, Dr. Esmail has 6 years of specialized training that focuses primarily on procedures from the neck up. Facial plastic surgery requires extreme attention to detail, an eye for symmetry and a drive for perfection. When it comes to someone’s face there is no room for error, and at Visage, this is the very work ethic that drives our entire team. It is those attributes that originally attracted Dr. Esmail to the field of facial plastic surgery. His obsessive attention to detail and keen eye for aesthetic symmetry is what makes him one of the most exciting and top young surgeons in the field.

Shafroz Velji

Lead Injector

Shafroz is a compassionate registered nurse with diverse experience as a bedside nurse in vascular surgery and women’s health. Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta she has decided to make a move to Winnipeg and continue being a nurse injector. Her passion for skincare and aesthetics lead her to follow up her bachelor of nursing degree with certifications to administer neuromodulators and dermal fillers. While in Calgary she worked at the Calgary Institute of Plastic Surgery with Dr. Lee and began injecting her own clients shortly after. Her combined professional experience, attention to detail and natural ability as a caring listener make her an excellent injector. Shafroz believes that subtlety and precision are crucial to delivering her patients the refreshed and youthful results they desire.

Clarence Bonifacio

Nurse Injector

Clarence is a Registered Psychiatric Nurse who has been part of the Visage team since 2022, assisting Kristina with hair transplants. In 2025, she transitioned to the operating room as a surgical nurse, working alongside Dr. Esmail. In addition to her surgical role, Clarence is also an aesthetic nurse injector, helping patients enhance their natural beauty with confidence. With a background in mental health from her work at the Crisis Response Centre and Urgent Care, she combines her psychiatric nursing expertise with surgical and aesthetic care to help patients feel their best—both physically and mentally.

With five years experience in hair rejuvenation and 8 years surgical experience I can help you determine the best treatment option to give you the life changing results you are looking for.
