Are you looking for the ultimate Medispa experience? Look no further than Visage Cosmetic Clinic, one of the top-rated medical spas in Winnipeg. While offering a wide range of beauty treatments, at Visage Clinic we use advanced photographic technology to provide a comprehensive analysis of your skin. This way, we can recommend the perfect products and treatments to align with your aesthetic goals. Our mission at Visage is to have each individual client leave feeling beautiful, confident, and informed. In this post, we’re going to discuss everything about your Medispa experience at Visage Cosmetic Clinic, from the initial consultation and technology used to the different types of treatments offered.
The Initial Consultation
Before receiving any procedures, you will begin your visit with an initial consultation. This allows us to discuss your specific skincare goals while coming up with an individualized treatment plan for you. After checking in, you’ll be led to our beautiful bathroom and able to use our complimentary products to remove any makeup or lotions from your face. Once your face is fresh and clear, it’s time to use our specialized photography technology, called VISIA and VECTRA.
VISIA facial imaging provides a full analysis of your skin, including pore size, pigmentation, redness, texture, and fine lines and wrinkles.
VECTRA captures 3D images, so we can analyze your skin and also create before and after photos.
These images can help our staff recommend specific treatments or products to meet your skincare needs as well as determine which of our expert staff you’d most benefit from seeing.
Our Treatments
OK, let’s get to the fun part now – the treatments you can receive at Visage MediSpa! From lasers and injectables to facials and peels, we have it all. We can’t possibly go over every single treatment in detail in the scope of this blog, so be sure to check out our Medispa treatment list on our website for more information. For now, let’s discuss some of our most popular treatments.
Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a safe, non-invasive procedure where your provider uses a special scalpel blade to essentially shave away the top layer of skin, removing impurities, dead skin cells, blackheads, as well as “peach fuzz”, the tiny vellus hairs on the face. A dermaplaning treatment immediately results in brighter, smoother, flawless-looking skin, while reducing fine lines and wrinkles. This procedure is perfect on its own, but it also has the benefit of priming the skin for makeup, skincare products, and even other cosmetic treatments.
Hydrafacials
A hydrafacial is a medical-grade resurfacing treatment used to treat fine lines and wrinkles, brown spots, and loss of elasticity among other skin ailments, all while hydrating your skin. A hydrafacial is a 30 minute procedure that consists of four main steps – cleansing, exfoliating, extracting, and hydrating. First, the face is thoroughly cleansed and then exfoliated, to remove dead skin cells and excess sebum. Next, clogged pores are treated and any blackheads, oils, or other impurities are essentially vacuumed away with a pen-like device. Lastly, special serums are applied to leave your skin looking healthy and hydrated. This treatment is quick, effective, suitable for all skin types, and requires no downtime afterward. At Visage, we offer several different types of hydrafacials, including hydrafacial boosters to suit your skincare needs.
Injectables
Are you hoping for a more vibrant, youthful appearance, but not looking to go under the knife? At Visage Cosmetic Clinic, we offer an array of injectable beauty treatments used as preventative measures against the visible signs of aging. Injectables such as Botox or dermal fillers are some of the most commonly used cosmetic treatments on the market. This is because they effectively treat fine lines and wrinkles without the risks and downtime associated with surgery. What’s the difference between fillers and Botox? Dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid, a gel-like substance that naturally occurs in the body. When injected into the desired area, facial fillers add volume and plumpness while smoothing out any lines. Botox, on the other hand, is the brand name for a type of botulinum toxin injections. When administered by a professional, this neurotoxin temporarily paralyzes the muscles in the face that cause wrinkles (from smiling, frowning, or squinting). When the muscles can no longer contract, you will no longer have dynamic wrinkles caused by your facial expressions, while still appearing subtle and natural. Botox is the most commonly known brand of neurotoxin used in cosmetics, but at Visage we also offer other brands such as Dysport and Nuceiva. Together with our staff, we can help choose the right treatment for you.
Laser Treatments
Laser skin treatments can treat and improve many skin conditions including scarring, acne, wrinkles, large pores, sun damage, hyperpigmentation (dark spots), age spots, red patches, and skin texture, all while refreshing your face. Laser treatments can boost your collagen levels for more elastic, healthier-looking skin. At Visage Cosmetic Clinic, we use the most advanced technology on the market, for the safest, most comfortable procedure possible. We offer several types of laser facials to treat specific ailments such as acne, wrinkles, or rosacea.
Microneedling
One cosmetic treatment that’s gaining popularity is microneedling, sometimes known as collagen induction therapy. This procedure involves pricking the skin with tiny needles. These controlled wounds cause your body to produce more collagen. Microneedling is used to treat several skin issues, including scarring, acne, large pores, hyperpigmentation, as well as fine lines and wrinkles.
Facial Peels
Is there anything more luxurious than receiving a facial peel in a spa-like environment? These safe, non-invasive treatments are the perfect addition to your current skincare routine. Choose one of our facial peels for a deep cleanse, all while tightening and brightening your skin. You’ll leave looking refreshed and glowing!
Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy includes a broad range of rejuvenation techniques using approved vitamins, enzymes, antioxidants, and other active ingredients to improve different skin conditions. These ingredients are usually administered into the deeper layers of the skin by many controlled microinjections, but sometimes as a topical treatment instead. We offer multiple mesotherapy treatments aimed at tightening the skin, treating the undereye area, improving skin flaws, and treating fine lines and wrinkles, all while renewing and refreshing the skin.
